Sunset in Miyazaki – 60x80cm

As I stepped out of Aoshima Shrine in Miyazaki, Japan, I was met with a stunning sunset casting its golden light over the striking rock formations and saltwater pools. I’m grateful to have captured this fleeting moment, when the colours merged and interacted in transcendent unity. This work is an artist proof to experiment with printing on aluminium. I am impressed by how aluminium brings out and elevates the patterns and forms of my subject matter
