Since moving to the country and living through years of drought when rivers, creeks and lakes dried up, I have come to appreciate the preciousness of water, a source of life and renewal. Waterway and oceans are fragile and need protection. Water is beautiful, life giving, purifying and miraculous and creates a sanctuary, a safe harbour, for survival on earth.
