Water is alive, in a myriad of ways. Never is this more evident than in the dance of a breaking wave. It rises out of the swell of a deeply breathing sea, lifts itself as a seemingly solid form, then explodes into a dance of translucent acrobatic droplets and spray, before somersaulting back into the waiting sea. This it can do time after time, each dance different, for ever…a life eternal.
