Aquatic Adventures – 65x126cm

There is nothing stationary about the ocean. It is in perpetual motion even in calm waters. Just like our breath, there is a lot going on below the surface. This is my fascination for exploring the ocean in my work. A subject matter that can’t be contained. Where all the pieces fit beautifully together, but are never the same. Born on the island continent, there is something rebellious about the Australian character that makes us dream of wild adventures even when the seas get rough. This artwork is an ode to that great Australian spirit. Themes of tenacity and splendour in our environment and the human condition play an important role in the selection of my subject matter
