Aqua Dive – 120x90cm

Water is a recurrent theme in all my artworks. Growing up on the island of Singapore and living by the water in Sydney have profoundly shaped my artistic journey, allowing me to express the fluidity of existence through visual narratives. I find water and listening to its movement intriguing, calming, and meditative. My artworks are inspired by time spent watching reflections, observing the movement of water, and photographing bodies of water in ebb and flow. For me, the flow of water is also a metaphor for the changing tides of everyday life and the process of navigating them. I seek to understand what lies beneath the observable, reflecting delicacy & strength, unpredictability & contrasts
