Absolution – 30x25cm

I am obsessed with the ocean. I have sought to live within access to the ocean my entire life and have immersed myself in it when and wherever possible. For the past 18 years I have been swimming laps in my local ocean pool. I believe that this ritualistic practice is a fundamentally life affirming experience. It is so much part of my life and essential for my mental and physical welfare that I have concluded that this practice is, in fact a need, not a want.
